About Brittin

Brittin was born in New Jersey, raised in Southern California, and now lives and works in New York City. Growing up, his mother introduced him to Shakespeare and encouraged his love of theater. Throughout middle school and high school, Brittin read and performed many Shakespeare plays, developing an appreciation for the bard early on. During his junior year of high school, Brittin competed in the Utah Shakespeare Festival Acting Competition (a national theater festival) and ranked 4th in the monologue category.

Upon graduating high school, Brittin competed in and won a full-tuition scholarship competition at The King’s College in New York City. While at King’s Brittin performed in the school musicals and plays such as the New York premiere of A Pound in Your Pocket by Charles Strouse, and Floyd Collins by Adam Guettel. For his senior thesis, Brittin performed Shakespeare’s Macbeth as a one-man 5-act show, and won the “Capstone Award of Excellence” from The King’s College for his performance. He trained under acting and voice industry professionals such as Virginia Pike, Misti Wills, and Kelly Hijleh. He also had the opportunity to participate in other classes outside of King’s, one of which being a 6-week vocal masterclass with Broadway conductor Paul Boguev. Brittin graduated Magna Cum Laude, and has since performed with The Heights Players in Oliver! and worked on the children’s web-series Dr. Blueberry’s House.

Brittin looks forward to continuing his work on stage and screen. He currently lives in Brooklyn, and works at The King’s College as the Educational Ventures Administrator.
